Company Background

Puppy and Pet Products International, LLC, or PaPPi(R), was founded in 2003 with headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona. The mission of the company was to develop a line of pet products that focused on a new trend in pet ownership, whereby pets are treated as an extension of the nuclear family. Consideration is given to a pets' comfort and safety, and regard to an overall improved quality of life. Pets have gained our hearts, which has also given rise to the adoption of human rituals, such as gift giving and creating a more healthy and happy environment. It is not uncommon for people to remember their pets' birthdays, and include them in other festive occasions.

The EZLeash® and EZCollar® concepts were conceived as convenient and safe methods of harnessing competitive animals. Early versions of the product were developed for the equestrian industry and greyhound racing dogs, such as martingale collars, slip or racing leads. Pioneers affiliated with PaPPi® adopted a similar concept, and proliferated several generations of the product with innovations and solutions to protect domestic pets. The upgraded variations are more adaptive for everyday use and add some stylistic options. The EZLeash® products combine a wide padded collar with a nylon lead, in addition to decorative color, size and ribbon pattern variations. Our initial line of leashes and collars are ideally suited for dogs, but lends applicability to other domesticated household pets.

Although most regions of the United States and many other developed countries require domestic animals to be collared and tagged, in actuality many owners do not maintain a collar on their pets at all times. There are also certain hazards, inconveniences and discomfort associated with traditional collars. The advent of identity microchips that are easily and inexpensively implanted into pets, permitting quick and thorough identification if a pet is lost or injured has obviated the need to collar your pet in most instances. The EZCollar® can also be used in conjunction with standard or retractable leash products in use today.

Maintaining an active pet is synonymous with a healthy pet. Subsequent to local health or safety regulations, people like to take their pets for walks, runs or accompany them on trips. The growth and popularity of animal friendly recreational facilities and off-leash dog parks, permitting your dogs to run freely, has given rise to the need to quickly restrain or free your pet. The EZLeash® line of collars and leashes are ideally suited for these activities, while safely protecting and securing your pet quickly. Harnesses are safe and secure, but are cumbersome and chafe your pets' sensitive skin, while traditional nylon, leather or chain linked choke collars compress and may injure the pets' sensitive throat area.

The EZLeash® line of solutions serves the purpose of quickly restraining your pet and providing for a safe and comfortable experience for the animal. The products were designed for use in conjunction with the pets' owner, and not for the pet to be tied or left unattended. The padding can minimize the chances for your animal to collapse their trachea or esophagus compared with customary collar and leash combinations, especially on competitive or aggressive animals.

When individuals test the PaPPi(R) solutions, they switch their buying mentality from interest to need, and feel neglect for not providing the best means available to safely restrain their pet. The products may be purchased online through the www.ezleash.com Web site, directly, or through authorized pet supply stores and consumer retailers.
